Cortex is a self-hosted life operating system with nine integrated modules, Apple-inspired design, and an autonomous AI orchestration layer. Built for complete personal data sovereignty.

The Problem

Personal productivity tools are fragmented across dozens of SaaS products — finance in one app, health in another, notes in a third. Data stays siloed, nothing connects, and you own nothing.

The Solution

A monolithic life OS deployed via Docker Compose:

• Vault — Personal finance with TrueLayer bank sync, transaction AI categorisation, budgets, subscriptions, net worth tracking
• Health — Whoop-connected dashboard, recipes, meal planning, smart supplements (9-supplement stack with adherence tracking), blood work import
• Chronicle — Content studio with carousel factory, campaigns, video editor, A/B testing, render queue
• Voice (Jarvis) — 39-tool AI brain with GPU-accelerated STT (faster-whisper), ElevenLabs TTS, continuous VAD mode
• Cortex Mind — Autonomous intelligence layer with subconscious thinking loop, proactive nudges, push notifications, innovation scanner
• Calendar — Google Calendar bidirectional sync with scheduling intelligence
• Knowledge — Notes, documents (encrypted), Scribe spatial AI writing engine with Harvard citations
